As a seller in the Seattle real estate market, how do you select the best offer in multiple offer situations?
What a seller should look for in an offer:
1) Price – How much money is offered and how solid is the deal?
2) Terms – What is the buyer offering aside from price? Ex. Earnest money & closing timeline.
3) Contingencies – Including financing, down payment, appraisal, inspection, etc. These are opportunities for buyers to possibly back out.
