About Zach McDonald

Seattle is more than just where I work — it’s home. I’m a proud graduate of King’s High School in Shoreline and Seattle Pacific University, where I earned a degree in communication. Over the years, I’ve lived in multiple neighborhoods across Seattle and the surrounding area — from Queen Anne and South Lake Union to Bellevue, Mukilteo, and Edmonds. Today, my wife and I are raising our family in Shoreline, just north of the city.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped hundreds of buyers and sellers navigate a wide range of market conditions. That experience has shaped how I approach real estate: with preparation, clear communication, and strategies that hold up beyond best-case scenarios.

Real estate is personal. Where you live shapes your routines, your relationships, and often your long-term financial picture. I don’t take that lightly.

My Approach to Real Estate

Buying or selling a home involves many decisions. My role is to help slow the process down, clarify the choices that matter most, and guide you with steady, honest advice at every step.

I see my role less as a salesperson and more as a guide and coach — helping you think clearly, anticipate what’s ahead, and move forward with confidence. That usually means focusing on preparation, positioning, and thoughtful negotiation — the parts of the process that actually shape outcomes.

Whether I’m helping buyers understand the market before writing an offer or helping sellers think through pricing, timing, and positioning, the goal is the same: decisions grounded in real market behavior, not pressure or guesswork.

Clients often describe my approach as calm, responsive, and honest. I don’t believe in hype. I do believe in education, thoughtful preparation, and being fully present throughout the process — from early conversations through closing day.

Education, Experience, and Perspective

I believe confident decisions come from understanding the process, not guessing your way through it. That’s why I spend a lot of time educating clients, explaining trade-offs, and sharing market insights — whether one-on-one or through videos and resources that make real estate feel clearer and less intimidating.

Every transaction is different, but the goal is always the same: clarity, confidence, and a plan that makes sense for you.

Beyond Real Estate

Outside of work, I’m a husband, a dad of six, and a coach. I spend as much time as I can outdoors — often in the mountains — where preparation, awareness, and steady decision-making matter just as much as they do in real estate.

Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of clients buy and sell homes across Seattle and the surrounding suburbs.
